Welcome to our website which has been designed to provide you with all the information you need about our company and our services.

GHA Coaches Ltd is one of the largest independently owned bus & coach operators in the UK operating 230 vehicles from 6 depots and employing nearly 400 people. Our head office and central repair facility is located in Ruabon just outside Wrexham and we have additional depots at Ruthin (Denbighshire), Tarvin (Chester), Winsford (Cheshire West), Macclesfield (Cheshire East) and Shrewsbury (Shropshire).

We operate local bus services both commercially and on behalf of local authorises and our network of bus services takes us from our home town of Wrexham and the surrounding counties of Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy and Gwynedd and over the English border where we also operate in Deeside, Cheshire West & Chester, Cheshire East, Warrington and into Greater Manchester.

GHA Coaches also operate bus services in Shropshire under our Bryn Melyn brand and in 2014 we were awarded the prestigious contract to operate the Traws Cymru service between Wrexham and Barmouth by the Welsh Government. We work hard to build partnerships with local authorities and this has created several quality partnerships across our network and we are always looking for new ways to add innovation to our bus services, which now includes our latest buses being fitted with GPS tracking, audio and visual next stop announcements systems, leather seats and free Wi-Fi for our passengers.

We aim to be your complete passenger transport solution and as well as local bus services we also operate home to school contracts on behalf or local authorities and schools including bespoke special needs transport solutions for children and vulnerable adults. We also operate a fleet of modern coaches with 14 to 70 seats which as well as providing vehicles for rail replacement, cruise transfers, co-operate events and other blue chip companies are available for hire for any occasion to schools and groups.

Operations for GHA Coaches ceased on 13 July 2016 when the company went into administration.

According to Wikipedia:

After GHA Coaches failed to pay almost £1m in taxes, HMRC took out a court order against GHA placing the company in to administration. The administrators found the company had debts of £5.3m, meaning there was no viable way to keep the business going meaning operations were suspended on the evening of 13 July 2016 and assets of the company were put up for sale in order to recover as much of the debts as possible.
